Big Dog Ranch Rescue presented a unique opportunity to create welcoming and highly functional environments that support the organization’s mission while accommodating the care and daily needs of thousands of dogs.

Architectural Designer Andres Gonzalez helped with the design of each space, material, finish, and circulation area to withstand the demands of a high-activity animal rescue environment. Andres prioritized durability, safety, ease of maintenance, and functionality while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere for the dogs, staff, volunteers, and visitors.

Working closely with the owner, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and specialty vendors, Andres coordinated the design to create practical, long-lasting spaces that support the organization’s daily operations and commitment to animal welfare.
